Which military department do you feel would be better for a marriage or a family? Marines, Navy or Air Force?

I want to head to the Marines originally, but I started reading up more on the Navy & felt that it was more for me (Plus my dad is a retired Seal, so it's been a dream of mines for awhile). ... I'm not afraid to go to war, but I do have a 3 month old daughter & my fiancee which I plan on marrying later this year. I also hear that the Air Force is a real family oriented department of the military (As far as hardly ever being deployed is concerned). (Sigh) I just want to hear your opinions on this matter ESPECIALLY from those who are already in the service. Thanks.

I am a Navy wife but I will take the AIr Force any day. First off, most of military exchanges are very expensive but go in an Air Force exchange and the prices are much reasonable. Day Cares on bases are wonderful while the staff and children are catered too Even the Gym has areas that mothers and children can work out together. I am sure that housing is much more available and ready for occupancy The Air Force has a different system as to regards to deployments.

It does but not to the extreme it once did. It would be mainly the older population that still follow it now. Younger people have more knowledge and info on the truth and context of religion(s) now and are not shunned if you dont follow what the church says. Thankfully priests do not have much authority or control anymore.

If you drive around rural Ireland though you'll still meet hundreds of grottos and statues of saints and ofcourse mary herself.

I heard that university fees for Scottish Citizens have been scrapped, Is this correct?

Have been abroad for almost 9 years, and as it stands I am trying to get home with my son. I was told that Scotland had abolished university fees. Is this correct, and if so can anyone direct me to a ... link that could give me some information on this.

My boyfriend's best friend is in love with me?

Ok, so I met these two guys who were best friends since they were about 6, let's call them x and y. And for about 3 weeks i'd been talking to them both on msn, then guy x and I discovered ... we live 7 houses away from each other. By this time, both guy x and I were aware that guy y liked me. Then guy x and I started hanging out then he told me he liked me, I gave him a sweet kiss on the check and he left.

When guy x told guy y everything that had happened, guy y totally flipped out and kneed his other friend in the gut because he was so upset.

Then next day guy x asked me out, I liked him too so I said yes. Then next night I was on msn, when guy y came online, he told me that he "loved" me, and that even though I was now going out with his ex best friend, he "can't help loving" me.

It turned out that guy x had promised guy y he didn't like me, that he would never ask me out and that he would never try anything wtih me, I had suspected something like this.

Guy y is really shy and wouldn't lie about his feelings for me. I really want to be his friend because he is such a great guy, but I fear that the more I talk to him, the more he will like me.

I have no idea how to handel all this.

Things are fine, and tell him you will continue to be his friend unless he can't handle it.

How can a pitcher bring down there ERA?

Say there ERA is it 2.55. How do they bring it down to 2.35?

Answer:

The more innings you have pitched, the harder it is to bring down the ERA.

For example, if you have an ERA of 3.00 after pitching 9 innings, then you can bring it down to 1.50 if you pitch a 9-inning shutout your next game.

But if your ERA of 3.00 is based on 100 innings, then you will have to not allow an earned run for the next 100 innings to bring it down to 1.50.

The same cannot be said about "blowing up" the ERA, since theoretically one can allow an unlimited number of runs in one inning.
