Question:
Ok, so I met these two guys who were best friends since they were about 6, let's call them x and y. And for about 3 weeks i'd been talking to them both on msn, then guy x and I discovered ... we live 7 houses away from each other. By this time, both guy x and I were aware that guy y liked me. Then guy x and I started hanging out then he told me he liked me, I gave him a sweet kiss on the check and he left.When guy x told guy y everything that had happened, guy y totally flipped out and kneed his other friend in the gut because he was so upset.
Then next day guy x asked me out, I liked him too so I said yes. Then next night I was on msn, when guy y came online, he told me that he "loved" me, and that even though I was now going out with his ex best friend, he "can't help loving" me.
It turned out that guy x had promised guy y he didn't like me, that he would never ask me out and that he would never try anything wtih me, I had suspected something like this.
Guy y is really shy and wouldn't lie about his feelings for me. I really want to be his friend because he is such a great guy, but I fear that the more I talk to him, the more he will like me.
I have no idea how to handel all this.

Tell him that it's not his fault that his friend came up to you first, and that it's not your fault either.Things are fine, and tell him you will continue to be his friend unless he can't handle it.
