Question:
my tv can only go up to 1080i because it is an earlier hd television but i just wanna know whats the difference between the two.Answer:
1080I is about 1400 lines of resolution (the i menas interlace scanning), while the 1080P (p menas progressive scanning). There are no tv program being broadcast in either 1080I or 1080P, the only source for 1080P is through the Blue Ray disc movies you buy. HD tv braodcast are in 720P and older program in 480P (like normal dvds). Hope this will explain it for you.Category: Electronics
