Simple question - is football naturally progressing, or does it now disproportionately transcend the days of a Saturday afternoon on the stands clutching a pork-pie?

I genuinely believe football is about to find out in a very quick, sharp lesson.

The English premier league is a deck of cards waiting for one to fall and take the others with them.

Many of my friends have downgraded Sky sports as a means to save money, setanta are struggling and will need to change their business model. Football will not receive the same funding from the TV channels at the next round of negotiations.

The big clubs owe millions to rich businessmen - the money that has been invested into the club has been loans not gifts and at some point will need to be paid back.

Every single club in the Premier league owes millions to banks and investors.

Clubs outside the premiership are going bust taking banks money with them - so football clubs are going to find it harder and harder to raise finances.

Fans are getting more and more disillusioned with football and the greed. They see themselves taking paycuts, being made redundant, losing overtime etc etc, and on the other hand they see footballers going for obsene amounts of money and huge pay increases.

Football can go as corporate as it likes but without consumer demand, advertising, TV deals, shirt sales etc all fall and football is left with a product with no money, no investors and no fans.

I believe it is hanging in the balance - look at last Wednesday England match - even taking the consideration for the tube strike almost 25,000 tickets remained unsold - many in the so called corporate hospitality area. Wales play to an empty Millenium stadium for their international matches. Football needs to get back to basics and engage their fans base. Failure to do that will leave a very different game in England.

Would it be better to use interesting made up names for a story than regaluar names?

okay i know you may think this is stupid and that's okay but i like to know what other people think, which is why i'm asking this.

I'm writing a story and my friend ... says i should make up names for the characters that i have living in another world but i do like the names from this world

Gabriel Ava Serina and Markus for creatures of the "other world" would people still read it, even tho there names our from our world.
The "other world" is similar to this world so i didn't think it would matter what names there called.
Again please don't say anything stupid if you don't like it

If you're looking for something more out there, I highly suggest zoope.com, which has really out there names that are real names, but aren't really heard of. Like Yale, I love that name, used it for my main male character :)

I like cats, they are independent and cuddly.

Depending on where your going and what the climate is like... If I was going to a party I would just wear the vest and a push up bra with maybe a skinny black tank with some lace up top for modesty and some big barrel curls that bounce and have a lot of volume would be really hot and with so much height on your hair you'd be able to dance the night away without going flat. For acessories i'd go glittery to stand out, with medium sized hoop earrings and a couple of bangles...makeup, either Smokey eyes and nude lip or bold red lips and natural eyes..

For a more professional atmosphere or just to look nice at school a short sleeve shirt with ruffles on the front and it can be a little sheer for added trendiness or youthfulness, acessories can be the same but I would trade out the hoops for a medium sized "diamond" studs... You can either wear black slacks or tailored looking dark wash boot cut pants.(skinny jeans don't look as crisp) these can be paired with pointy toe pumps or boots(weather permitting... And I would also stick to black shoes altough you can do red if that's your thing and you have the courage)
For hair I would do a simple high or low chignon or loose waves for a more relaxed look.lipgloss, mascara,a little liner on the top lid,and a light touch of blush to look Dewey fresh... Don't use too much bronzer that's always a big mistake ppl make. P.s. Depending on what your're doing too, a skirt would look nice...some shapes are, pencil,highwaisted pencil,slighty pleated,even a black tutu could be fun and flirty!

The only way to stop a cat from killing is to remove the trigger that initiates the action. That means locking the cat indoors.
I am fortunate where I live; there are more mice than birds and the the cat rarely take a bird unless it lands too close to them. Usually it's nuisance birds though. The pretty little songbirds prefer the upper tree branches.
We get starlings and blackbirds left on the porch. I keep telling him I want a big fat goose but he never listens to me.

Flip1_R_Active is an "OLD" overclocking utility for your graphics card. I'm assuming that you're using an old voodoo card? Do a search in your computer for the file: "idp.raw" then open that file through notepad. Go to (i think) line 5 (it will say: show true value = true) - change it to: show true value = false

- now hit FILE >> SAVE

Go restart your computer and see if that works. WOW, you just brought back some memories with this one.

After you exit your plane proceed to the luggage area. Normally just follow the crowd. You will see signs above telling which way to luggage claim. After you get your luggage you will see signs telling you what doors to exit for the taxi line. Just get in line, which is usually pretty long here in Vegas. When you get to the front of the line a person will direct you which direction to go to get your cab. They move very fast and is never a wait once you get to the front of the line. You should have the address printed out and directions or a map to give to the driver. You Realtor should provide that for you. Surprised your realtor isn't picking you up at the airport.

Why do I suddenly hate my friends?

We were friends for more than 8 years and suddenly I think I hate them. Of course I'm not talking about all my friends. Only 2 of ... them.

You have to act nice to us." at this moment I felt like I really don't want to even see them. But I just don't understand. We always helped each other and stuff, and now they're just using me, because they can't use computers and I'm the only one who speaks English in my class...

Anyway, the problem is that I'm going to High School this year, and these friends are going to the same school. (even to the same class!)
So... I'm not sure if I should talk with them (even tho I don't want to) or just let it go and make new friends?

Don't talk to them or help them next year at all. Maybe then they'll realize how lost they are without you and will want you back. If not, make other friends and get over them. I'm not trying to sound mean, but sometimes that's just what you have to do.
